The County Picnic

We’re a Canadian/Spanish couple who have settled in Prince Edward County after 15 years guiding tours, writing guidebooks and travelling to 80+ countries around the world. 

Born and bred in Ottawa, Andrea worked as a tour guide on buses and boats around Europe before landing a dream job as a writer for Fodor’s Guidebooks, where she co-writes guidebooks about Croatia. Edu has designed and guided culinary tours of his native Spain, Italy and Germany, as well as local foodie hotspots in Toronto and Niagara. When our son was born in 2018, we moved back to Ontario. With its miles of beautiful beaches, exciting food and wine scene, close knit community and incredible local spirit, the County matched the lifestyle that we loved in Europe and we knew we’d found home.
